The Role
Deputy Manager Logistics (NGT) at the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Islamabad, purely on contract basis on a lump sum package (equivalent to PPS-8) for an initial period of 24 months, extendable on requirement basis.
•Support implementation and day-to-day management of NGT-enabled logistics systems, automation and digital workflows •Convert logistics requirements into functional specifications, workflows, dashboards, data models and system enhancement requests •Coordinate automated collection, validation and synchronization of warehouse, inventory, transport and disaster-related logistics data •Maintain the Logistics Common Operating Picture and monitor stock, warehouse, transport, demand and operational gaps •Configure and monitor rule-based and AI-assisted alerts for deficiencies, replenishment, abnormal stock movement, delivery delays and route disruptions •Integrate early-warning, GIS and disaster-impact data with logistics triggers for prepositioning and preparedness •Monitor digital tracking of consignments, transport availability, routes, dispatches, ETAs, delivery status and proof of delivery •Ensure data quality, reconciliation, audit trails and consistency between physical records and digital systems •Coordinate dashboard development, user acceptance testing, system troubleshooting, simulations and automated logistics reporting •Coordinate with warehouses, field users, developers and ICT/ NGT teams

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor 16 Years: Logistics/ Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, GIS/ Geoinformatics, Engineering, Business Administration
4-6 years of post-qualification relevant experience
ERP/ WMS/ TMS, Workflow Automation, Data Analytics, GIS Visualization, UAT
