The Role

Associate in the AKU Research Office, Karachi, reporting to the Senior Manager and supporting research storytelling, digital content, newsletters and related materials.

•Support the development of content for the AKU Research Magazine, including interviewing and coordinating with researchers and other stakeholders to gather information, photographs, and inputs for story development •Maintain and update the AKU Research website and affiliated digital platforms, including developing and uploading research stories, feature articles, news, announcements, and other web content •Assist in producing the Research Nexus monthly newsletter by gathering, editing, and coordinating updates from research teams and partners •Support the development of content and materials for key research initiatives, events, meetings, and campaigns, including posters, flyers, presentations, and other materials •Assist in planning and developing social media content for Research Office and AKU channels, including stand-alone posts and campaign content, and support the production of relevant multimedia assets •Translate technical and academic research information into clear, accessible, and engaging content for internal and external audiences •Coordinate with researchers, faculty, research teams, and other stakeholders to gather information and develop timely and accurate content •Support the monitoring and evaluation of activities, including digital and social media performance, audience engagement, and content reach •Undertake other related tasks assigned by the Manager, in support of departmental priorities
