The Role
Clinical Nurse in the Department of Physiotherapy at Aga Khan University Hospital, Karachi, providing personalized holistic nursing care to assigned patients.
•Demonstrate safe handling and proper use of equipment/ supplies •Provide high quality personalized planned holistic nursing care to all assigned patients •Administer medication safely, applying knowledge of drug and dosages, refers drug manual and/ or pharmacy information as required, monitors patient responses to medication and communicate reportable findings promptly •Counseling and educating patients on health behaviors •Demonstrate efficiency in use of electronic monitoring equipment •Demonstrate competence in patient assessment and care plan accordingly •Perform any other task assigned by supervisor
Applicants General Eligibility & Requirements
3+ years
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (16 Years): Nursing
At least three years of experience
Patient Care, Interpersonal Skills, Communication
•Basic Life Support, ACLS, PALS, NRP provider, Safe Medication Administration and Intravenous Cannulation certification
•Valid license from Pakistan Nursing Council
•Willingness to work with shifts •BScN or Post-RN BScN degree
