The Role

EY's Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) tax service line in Karachi is hiring a Senior Associate to provide clients with tax compliance, statutory accounts preparation and tax accounting calculation support.

•Assist clients in financial digital processes (year-end closings, audit assistance, financial statements) •Handle tax compliance including corporate tax returns and VAT returns •Support general accounting, credit control and internal optimization projects •Prepare management reports, budgeting, analytical bookkeeping, financial health and competitors' analysis •Manage day-to-day requirements of client engagements and monitor progress and deliverables •Put in place standardized processes, anticipate risks and resolve or escalate issues •Supervise teams and coach junior team members •Ensure adherence to Tax Quality guidelines

Required Education Level/ Field of Study

Bachelor's Degree (16 Years): Accounting, Finance, Business Administration
Masters: Business Administration

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, ideally within a large professional services company or similar environment Preferred: Experience dealing with multinational clients; experience and knowledge of tax compliance, financial reporting and ERP systems such as SAP
