The Role
EY's Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) tax service line in Karachi is hiring a Senior, as part of a MENA team, to lead a team providing tax compliance, statutory accounts and tax accounting services to clients across industries.
•Support client engagements by coordinating with clients and internal team members, managing deadlines and tracking engagement economics •Assist clients in financial digital processes (year-end closings, audit assistance, financial statements) •Handle tax compliance including corporate tax returns and VAT returns •Support general accounting, credit control and internal optimization projects •Prepare management reports, budgeting, analytical bookkeeping, financial health and competitors' analysis •Lead service delivery, coordination, issue resolution and contract management of large-scale projects •Lead and motivate teams and coach junior team members •Communicate significant issues, fees and estimates-to-complete to partners and clients •Ensure adherence to Tax Quality guidelines

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (16 Years): Accounting, Finance, Business Administration
- Masters: Business Administration
Minimum 4+ years of relevant experience, ideally within a large professional services company or similar environment; practical experience of regulatory topics including Prudential Reporting, Structural Reform, accounting and compliance innovation and/ or business audit Preferred: Experience dealing with multinational clients; experience and knowledge of tax compliance, financial reporting and ERP systems such as SAP

MBA, Masters or professional qualifications e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA, CTA, ADIT or equivalent
