The Role
Akseer is seeking a Senior Analyst in Karachi to lead coverage of assigned GCC sectors, from primary and secondary research through financial modelling, valuation and investment recommendations, for institutional clients invested in GCC equities.
•Conduct primary and secondary research and build and maintain three-statement financial models and valuations across assigned coverage •Author initiation reports, earnings previews and reviews and flash notes with clear, actionable investment recommendations •Review financial models and reports prepared by junior analysts; train and mentor analysts and trainees •Monitor earnings, corporate actions and sector developments and issue timely alerts •Engage with clients and portfolio managers on assigned coverage •Maintain sector databases and contribute to periodic departmental reports

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (16 Years): Finance, Economics, Accounting
Above 3 years of equity research experience, with hands-on experience in coverage initiations, detailed report writing and financial modelling Preferred: GCC coverage experience is strongly preferred; candidates with PSX or other emerging-market coverage are also encouraged to apply
Equity Research, Financial Modelling, Microsoft Excel, Bloomberg, Refinitiv, Capital IQ
ACCA qualification accepted in place of a bachelor's degree; CFA charterholders or active candidates preferred
