The Role
EY-Parthenon in Karachi is hiring a Senior for its Valuation, Modeling and Economics (VME) team to help clients with transaction and non-transaction decision-making, including strategic planning, value creation, financial reporting and market valuation.
•Focus on commercial issues, working with management on parts of the acquisition process or transformation plans •Undertake valuations for strategic priorities, agreeing value measurements and providing insights, factual conclusions and advice •Make technical contributions to valuation client engagements and internal projects •Research and analyse the target business, its market and quoted companies operating in that sector •Plan, prepare and review deliverables including Excel data books, written reports and presentations •Help create a positive learning culture for junior team members and support their development

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (16 Years): Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration
At least 3-5 years of related business valuation work experience, including multiple business valuations (DCF, guideline public companies and precedent transactions methods), purchase price allocations, complex financial models (including debt financing) and feasibility studies Preferred: Previous valuation and modelling experience in a professional services/ Big 4 or similar environment; understanding of the broader GCC/ MENA market
Business Valuation, Financial Modelling, IFRS
Achievement of, or significant progress towards, CFA or other professional certification (preferred)
- Arabic (Speaking: Native/ Fluent, Reading: Native/ Fluent, Writing: Native/ Fluent)
