The Role

Roche is hiring a Finance Director (Pakistan & Bangladesh) in Karachi, reporting to the Area Heads/ General Manager, to oversee the affiliate's financial results as well as procurement, supply chain and facility services.

•Oversee the financial results of the affiliate, ensuring adherence to Roche Group Accounting (FGA), local accounting standards, tax and customs •Proactively identify key challenges and opportunities and assess their impact •Drive a simple, fit-for-purpose business planning process and formulate a local finance strategy •Define the strategic direction of the organization with business leaders and contribute to long-term portfolio planning and resourcing strategy •Navigate volatile macroeconomic environments to maintain P&L sustainability, mitigate financial risks and identify growth opportunities •Connect affiliate priorities with regional and global priorities •Engage with business partners in value-enhancing decisions through business performance analysis (actuals vs. forecast) and market insights •Oversee the affiliate procurement process, balancing costs, service quality, compliance and strategic partnerships •Lead or contribute to regional and global work packages within the regional Finance Network •Embody VACC (Visionary, Architect, Coach and Catalyst) leadership principles and champion an inclusive culture
