The Role

EY's Accounting Compliance & Reporting (ACR) tax service line in Karachi is hiring a Senior to provide clients with integrated tax compliance, statutory accounts preparation and tax accounting calculation support.

•Assist clients in financial digital processes such as year-end closings, audit assistance and financial statements •Handle tax compliance including corporate tax and VAT returns, general accounting, credit control and internal optimization projects •Prepare management reports, budgeting, analytical bookkeeping, financial health and competitors' analysis •Manage day-to-day requirements of client engagements, monitor progress and deliverables and put standardized processes in place •Anticipate and identify risks, resolve or escalate issues and drive performance-improvement solutions •Supervise teams, coach junior team members and ensure adherence to Tax Quality guidelines

Required Education Level/ Field of Study

Bachelor's Degree (16 Years): Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Taxation

Required Experience

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, ideally within a large professional services company or similar environment Preferred: Experience with multinational clients; knowledge of tax compliance, financial reporting and ERP systems such as SAP
