The Role

EY's International Tax & Transaction Services (ITTS) practice is hiring a Senior Consultant or Assistant Manager in its Karachi office to support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia market, in an advisory role with a Transaction Tax Advisory (M&A) focus.

•Assist in delivering technically complex international and transaction tax engagements •Advise clients on regional and international tax implications of transactions such as acquisitions, disposals, refinancing, restructurings and IPOs •Advise on tax due diligence, permanent establishment, double taxation, cross-border treaties, tax structuring, corporate tax impact assessments and withholding tax •Manage leads and opportunities from other areas of the tax practice and the wider EY network •Deliver internal training, develop precedents, share knowhow, give presentations and produce expert articles

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements

Required Education Level/ Field of Study

Bachelor's Degree (16 Years): Taxation, Economics, Accounting, Finance

Required Experience

4 years or more of relevant, client-facing tax advisory experience; experience managing a team and/ or mentoring junior team members Preferred: Broad exposure to transaction tax or international taxation (inbound and outbound investments); experience with KSA tax regulations
