The Role

Mercy Corps is hiring a District Field Supervisor for Sialkot to implement TB-DOTS project activities under the PPM project in the district. The position reports to the Regional Coordinator.

•Coordinate with the District TB Coordinator, Regional Coordinator, District Lab Supervisor, private healthcare facilities and labs for TB-DOTS implementation under the PPM project •Carry out tehsil mapping in consultation with the district health department when required •Submit monthly progress reports, quarterly TB recording and reporting tools and activity reports after validation •Visit Hafizabad monthly for MPR validation and submission •Meet assigned TB case registration targets and follow the monthly work calendar •Visit hospitals, private providers and labs for the sputum transportation intervention •Ensure timely supply of anti-TB drugs and lab reagents to private partners •Conduct contact screening of bacteriologically positive cases and put contacts on treatment for latent TB •Refer rifampicin-resistant TB cases to the PMDT site and facilitate their registration •Implement Active Case Finding activities with district health authorities •Coordinate sputum sample transportation to the GeneXpert site and update the sputum transportation app •Maintain programmatic and financial records of field activities and submit them monthly
