The Role

Engro Polymer & Chemicals Limited is hiring a Deputy Manager Planning & Contracts in Karachi, responsible for planning, scheduling and preparing maintenance work packages, turnaround planning and site contracts administration to ensure safe, efficient and reliable plant operations.

•Ensure compliance to site safety audits as per plan issued by the safety section, including PSM/ OHIH/ ESM •Promote safe practices and continuous improvement initiatives •Review accident reports and follow up with first-line supervisors on corrective and preventive action •Steward compliance with PM plans and update them based on equipment/ plant condition •Develop and monitor departmental KPIs and identify improvement needs in existing systems and processes •Plan budget development and steward expenditure (cost control) •Develop and implement contract management procedures and pre-qualify contractors •Perform the entire contract cycle for site services contracts, from ITB preparation to contract close and settlement of dues •Monitor contractor performance against KPIs and implement the contract reward and reprimand process •Ensure labour law compliance across all contracts in planning scope •Maintain the list of jobs requiring plant/ equipment shutdown (green list management) •Develop shutdown/ turnaround strategy, timelines, TA packages and organisation structure •Arrange labour and non-labour resources and manpower loading charts for turnarounds •Monitor and report shift-wise progress during execution and prepare close-out reports •Ensure people and self-skill development through trainings •Ensure 100% compliance against the planned TA budget
