The Role

SSGC requires an Engineer (Distribution- Sindh) to provide technical and operational assistance to the Zonal Manager in planning, coordinating, monitoring and executing day-to-day Distribution and DSM activities within the zone.

•Assisting the Zonal Manager in monitoring day-to-day Distribution operations and network performance •Monitoring and coordinating resolution of low-pressure, leakage, interruption and other critical network-related issues •Coordinating maintenance, rehabilitation, reinforcement and other Distribution network improvement activities •Assisting in DSM activities, including pressure management, system optimization and efficient utilization of the Distribution network •Deployment of teams & Monitoring progress of field activities and coordinating field staff and other concerned departments •Reviewing operational issues and providing technical recommendations to the Zonal Manager •Monitoring important consumer complaints and ensuring timely resolution through coordination with relevant sections •Preparing periodic reports, MIS and status updates for review of the Zonal Manager •Conducting field inspections and monitoring compliance with approved technical and safety procedures •Performing any other Distribution/ DSM-related assignment entrusted by the Zonal Manager
