The Role

This Quality Control role in Reckitt's Research & Development function in Karachi covers analytical work, associated documentation and GLP compliance, reporting to the Quality Control Lead Healthcare.

•Test bulk, finished products and stability samples as per approved methods and perform status labelling •Maintain raw data of all testing in logbooks as per SOP •Maintain and review analytical results in the Batch Analytical Record Sheet as per procedure •Maintain equipment usage, reagent preparation and volumetric solution standardization logbooks •Perform and maintain records of equipment calibration •Keep approved test methods and monographs available and accessible •Perform validation of non-pharmacopoeia methods •Prepare stability schedules, protocols and reports •Prepare and validate stability-indicating methods •Perform regular and on-going stability testing and analysis of samples from new sources •Ensure GLP/ GMP and GDP during internal and external audits •Provide QC support in process, cleaning and water system validation and other projects •Develop and simplify analytical methods •Participate in investigation of OOS results •Write and update laboratory SOPs •Troubleshoot testing failures •Keep specifications and test methods aligned with the latest pharmacopeia •Coach and mentor junior employees •Ensure compliance with Health, Safety & Environmental policies and legal requirements •Maintain good housekeeping in the lab •Perform any other job assigned by the line manager
