Corporate Finance Manager

The Role

BAT is hiring a Corporate Finance Manager (permanent) in Lahore to coordinate with end markets and BAT GBS, drive forecasting, prepare management and statutory accounts and support internal controls and audits.

•Point of contact for coordination, clarity and action with end markets BAT GBS and outside •Planning, coordinating and executing intercompany cross charges in accordance with company guidelines •Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to local accounting team and support Finance Controlling Manager •Drive a comprehensive forecasting process, including dynamically remodelling scenarios as assumptions change, and support monthly planning (SOP) exercises •Preparation of management & statutory accounts including ad-hoc tasks as assigned by Financial Controller •Develop and build tools in process automation and maintain complete and accurate Task Level Descriptions (TLDs) in compliance with SOx •Understand functionality, interfaces and interdependencies of financial processes and systems to ensure adequate internal control •Lead master data housekeeping exercises as per global/ regional timelines •Support a smooth and efficient monthly/ quarterly close and commentary process •Assist in Accounts Payable activities (PO creation, vendor payments, queries and reporting), non-PO invoices and vendor management •Cashflow forecasting, reporting and hedging; investigate and respond to ad-hoc queries on financial performance across P&L, BS and CF •Drive a continuous improvement culture using data analytics, automation and robotics tools •Ensure compliance with Records Management Policies •Support operating internal controls and compliance with SOX control requirements in Planning and Reporting •Support external and internal audit engagements
