The Role
Memon Medical Institute Hospital, Karachi is hiring a Senior Dietitian/ Dietitian for the Department of Diabetes, Endocrinology & Metabolic Sciences.
•Assess patients' nutritional needs and develop appropriate therapeutic diet plans •Review physician diagnoses and diet orders and update patients' nutrition care plans •Provide nutrition counseling and education to patients and their families •Conduct outpatient nutrition clinics and provide dietary guidance •Coordinate with physicians, nurses and healthcare teams to meet patients' nutritional needs •Review meal slips, menus and diet orders to ensure accuracy and compliance •Monitor meal and tray-line services and ensure appropriate therapeutic diets are provided •Document patient progress and communicate relevant information to the healthcare team •Supervise and guide Trainee Dietitians and junior staff •Ensure compliance with hospital SOPs, food safety and departmental policies •Perform other duties assigned by the Head of Department

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (16 Years): Nutrition
•Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dietitian Preferred: •Experience preferably in a Diabetes and Endocrinology Department
Communication, Counseling, Problem Solving, Patient Management, MS Office, Therapeutic Diets, Food Safety
•Registered Dietitian/ Nutritionist with relevant professional registration
