The Role

EY's Financial Accounting & Advisory Services (FAAS) team in Pakistan is seeking an experienced professional for its ICFR vertical to manage internal controls over financial reporting engagements for large and complex organizations.

•Develop and maintain Risk and Control Matrices (RCMs) for financial reporting processes •Prepare as-is process documentation, flowcharts and narratives for key business cycles •Identify and document key risks and controls aligned with COSO and regulatory requirements •Perform design and operating effectiveness testing of internal controls over financial reporting •Document test results, identify deficiencies and recommend remediation plans •Coordinate with client teams to ensure timely completion of testing and remediation •Lead stakeholder meetings with finance, operations and compliance teams to validate processes and controls •Present findings and recommendations to senior management and Audit Committees •Act as a trusted advisor to clients on ICFR compliance and optimization •Manage end-to-end ICFR engagements, including planning, execution and reporting •Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and timelines •Mentor junior team members and review their work for accuracy and completeness
