The Role
Idara-e-Taleem-o-Aagahi (ITA) is looking for an Intern/ Facilitator to join its Kitab Gari (KG) team in Karachi to support the implementation of literacy initiatives and community engagement activities. This is a 3-6 months internship with possibility of extension based on performance.
•Plan and implement Kitab Gari activities in line with project objectives •Coordinate the distribution of books and reading materials to schools, libraries, and community learning spaces •Monitor program implementation and assess the impact of literacy interventions •Organize reading sessions, workshops, storytelling events, and community engagement activities •Lead interactive storytelling sessions to foster children's interest in reading •Build and maintain partnerships with schools, educators, and local organizations to strengthen outreach •Engage communities to promote a culture of reading and lifelong learning •Prepare program reports, documentation, and presentations •Conduct regular field visits to support storytelling and literacy engagement activities

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (16 Years): Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Education, Economics
- Masters: Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Education, Economics
Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in literacy programs, storytelling, education, or community development
Storytelling, Community Engagement, Report Writing
