The Role

Engro is hiring a DM Projects (ICT) at Dawood Center, Karachi, reporting to the Head of Planning & Development, to plan, establish and manage IT projects and serve as liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects.

•Define project scope and feasibility and set clear milestones •Manage purchasing, inventory, maintenance and other operational functions •Manage resources effectively to ensure the best possible productivity •Prepare requests for proposals and conduct meetings to select project services and products •Organize and manage all project phases to ensure on-time completion •Monitor expenditures in accordance with the budget and inform the business about project costs •Request quotations based on project scope within agreed timeframes •Identify risks during project execution, raise alerts and manage unanticipated risks •Monitor project progress and implement changes where necessary •Develop project documentation and get it approved by relevant authorities •Coordinate with the business and vendors on all matters relating to assigned projects •Compile project reports and inform management about problems •Ensure projects comply with best practices, SOPs and PMO policies •Liaise with project personnel, vendors and end-users on project requirements •Assist in establishing a Project Management Office to oversee multiple projects
