The Role
UTY/ PP Day Engineer responsible for safe, economical and trouble-free operation of the UTY/ CCPP plant at Engro Polymer & Chemicals, assisting the General Manager Operations and the Manager UTY/ CCPP Operations.
•Ensure safe and trouble-free operation of the UTY/ CCPP plants and supervise Operations Engineers and Assistant Engineers •Support the manager in developing short- and long-term operational plans and in coaching and training subordinates •Support the manager as Quality Coordinator of the area, implementing quality plans, document control, process and quality control, inspections, audits and corrective actions •Maintain PSM, environment, quality, budget control and business ethics policies by auditing and guiding operational personnel •Provide day-to-day technical support to shift staff and guidance in emergency situations •Coordinate with support functions, shutdown and daily planning meetings •Initiate capacity and efficiency enhancement projects with the Technical Department •Optimize manpower allocation and material consumption to minimize operating costs •Set goals and personnel development plans for employees •Act according to the emergency response role in level-1/- 2 emergencies •Ensure implementation, review, update, approval and distribution of operating procedures and manuals as per PSM guidelines

- Bachelor 16 Years: Engineering
