The Role
Planning & Controls Engineer responsible for planning, scheduling and preparing maintenance work packages, managing SAP work orders, turnaround planning and site services contracts at Engro Polymer & Chemicals.
•Comply with site safety audits (PSM/ OHIH/ ESM) and coordinate contractor safety management •Steward compliance with PM plans and update them based on equipment/ plant condition •Develop and monitor departmental KPIs and identify improvement needs •Develop planning budgets and steward expenditure •Develop and implement contract management procedures and pre-qualify contractors •Perform the full contract cycle for site service contracts, from ITB preparation to contract close and settlement •Monitor contractor performance as per KPIs and ensure labor law compliance across contracts •Maintain the list of jobs requiring plant/ equipment shutdown (Green List management) •Develop shutdown/ turnaround strategy, scope, timeline, organization structure and TA packages •Arrange labor and non-labor resources and manpower loading charts for turnarounds •Monitor and report shift-wise progress during execution and prepare close-out reports •Monitor compliance against the planned TA budget and departmental fixed cost budget
