The Role

Brookes Pharma is hiring a Manager Taxation for its Finance department in Karachi.

•Manage and oversee all direct and indirect taxation matters of the organization •Ensure timely and accurate filing of income tax, sales tax, withholding tax and other statutory returns •Manage tax assessments, audits, notices, appeals and correspondence with tax authorities •Ensure accurate calculation, deduction, reconciliation and timely payment of applicable taxes •Review tax implications of business transactions, contracts and agreements •Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and advise management on their impact •Develop effective tax planning strategies while minimizing tax risks and liabilities •Coordinate with external tax consultants, auditors and government authorities •Maintain accurate tax records, reconciliations and supporting documentation •Ensure compliance with all statutory deadlines and minimize exposure to penalties •Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning related to taxation •Lead, mentor and supervise the taxation team
