The Role

Al Baraka Bank (Pakistan) Limited is hiring a Manager Takaful for its Admin & General Services Department in Karachi to manage Takaful coverage and claims for bank assets.

•Ensure timely renewal and adequate Takaful coverage for all bank assets, including equipment, vehicles, cash and other items covered under relevant policies •Manage Takaful claims efficiently, maintain records of insured assets and policy expiry dates, and ensure timely processing and follow-up with Takaful operators •Negotiate competitive Takaful terms and rates, maintain strong relationships with operators, and conduct market comparisons to secure optimal coverage •Ensure compliance with bank policies, internal controls, regulatory requirements and audit observations while maintaining proper documentation and reporting •Oversee unit staff discipline and performance, manage assigned responsibilities, mitigate operational risks, and perform any additional duties assigned by the Bank
