The Role
The City School invites applications for Lab assistant in Karachi.
•Assist Science teachers in preparing and conducting laboratory practicals and experiments •Prepare and arrange laboratory equipment, apparatus, chemicals, specimens, and other materials for practical sessions •Ensure the laboratory is clean, organized, and maintained according to safety standards •Maintain proper records of laboratory equipment, chemicals, glassware, and consumable items •Monitor laboratory stock and inform the concerned supervisor/ teacher about shortages or damaged items •Ensure chemicals and other hazardous materials are properly labelled, stored, and handled •Assist students and teachers during practical sessions while ensuring safe use of laboratory equipment •Perform basic cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment and apparatus •Report damaged equipment, chemical spills, accidents, or safety concerns to the concerned authority •Follow all laboratory health, safety, and security procedures •Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor or school management

1- 3 years
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (14 Years)
1- 3 years of relevant experience in a school, college, or science laboratory is preferred.
•Bachelor’s degree in Science from a reputed university
