The Role
Pakistan Refinery Limited is hiring a Shift Boiler Superintendent, reporting to the Shift Manager Plant Operations, for safe and smooth operation of all boilers at the refinery in Karachi.
•Operate all boilers safely and smoothly •Carry out planned and emergency shutdowns, startups, troubleshooting and annual shutdown maintenance activities •Optimise fuel consumption with respect to material and energy balance •Maintain logbook, log sheets and BFW quality along with process parameters within limits •Communicate with relevant stakeholders to resolve day-to-day operational issues

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Trade Certificate/ Vocational Certificate: Boiler Engineering
- Diploma: Mechanical
At least 10 years relevant experience with minimum of 5 years hands-on experience on BMS and DCS Control System
Troubleshooting, Emergency Risk Management, Operations & Control, PTWS, MS Office
•B class Boiler Engineer/ 1st Class Boiler Attendant certification from a recognized institution (valid), or C class Boiler Engineer/ 2nd Class Boiler Attendant certification from a recognized institution with D.A.E. Mechanical •Familiar with equipment operations (compressors, pumps, furnaces, turbines)
