Senior Officer- Taxation

The Role

Urgently required Senior Officer- Taxation to handle income tax, withholding tax and sales tax records, filings and compliance.

•Prepare and reconcile Income Tax, Withholding Tax and Sales Tax records with respective GL accounts •Supervise Sales Tax and Withholding Tax filings, including monthly/ periodic reconciliations •Prepare and file employee withholding tax statements under Section 149 and other statutory returns •Assist in annual income tax workings, returns and quarterly advance tax calculations •Ensure validity of tax exemption certificates and compliance with applicable tax requirements •Prepare responses, workings and supporting data for notices, audits and inquiries from FBR, SRB and other tax authorities •Maintain tax records, historical tax files, tax orders and year-wise GL reconciliations •Prepare SWWF and SWPPF workings and related compliance documentation •Coordinate with external auditors for timely completion of audits •Manage digital invoice posting and tax compliance through the FBR portal •Prepare PSIDs for tax liabilities and ensure timely payment processing
