The Role
Consultant Ophthalmologist (morning slot) at FIO Hospital, Blue Area, Islamabad, for comprehensive ophthalmic consultations, diagnosis, treatment, and surgical care.
•Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose various ophthalmic conditions •Provide appropriate medical treatment and patient management •Perform ophthalmic procedures and surgeries according to qualifications and expertise •Evaluate patients and recommend suitable treatment plans •Maintain accurate medical records and clinical documentation •Counsel patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up care •Coordinate with optometrists, ophthalmic technicians, and other clinical staff •Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and patient safety standards
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Professional Bachelor: Medicine (MBBS)
- Professional Master's Degree: Ophthalmology
Preferred: Relevant post-qualification clinical and surgical experience
Clinical Decision-making, Patient Management, Communication
Valid PM&DC registration
•FCPS/ MS in Ophthalmology or an equivalent recognized postgraduate qualification •Commitment to ethical medical practice and quality patient care
