The Role
Manager- Equity Funds in the Wealth Management area at JSIL, Karachi, managing equity portfolios to generate alpha, deliver competitive returns and meet benchmark objectives.
•Manage equity portfolios aligned with fund objectives, mandates, benchmarks and risk parameters to deliver competitive returns •Execute strategies to generate alpha and improve risk-adjusted returns through effective positioning and timely decisions •Determine sector allocation, stock selection, position sizing and portfolio composition based on market conditions, fundamentals and valuations •Translate research, financial modelling, valuations and market analysis into buy, hold and sell decisions •Monitor returns against benchmarks, analyse performance gaps and return drivers and adjust portfolios •Monitor portfolio risks, liquidity, sector and stock concentration and investment limits •Assess economic developments, market trends, industry dynamics and corporate events to identify opportunities •Ensure compliance with applicable laws, SECP regulations, internal policies and fund guidelines; prepare performance reports and recommendations

- Bachelor 16 Years: Finance, Economics, Accounting
- Masters: Finance, Economics, Accounting
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in equity fund management, portfolio management, equity research or investment management Preferred: Hands-on portfolio management experience and a proven investment track record
Portfolio Management, Equity Research, Valuation, Risk Management
CFA or relevant professional certifications in finance and investment management are an added advantage
