The Role
Full-time permanent role in the Health team within the Policy Practice, providing strategic leadership for OPM's growing Climate & Health portfolio. The position can be based in Addis Ababa, Nairobi, New Delhi, Pakistan (Islamabad) or remotely in the UK.
•Set the strategic direction and growth priorities for work at the climate-health nexus •Recruit, retain, mentor and develop technical and consulting talent •Identify, assess and prioritise Climate & Health opportunities across priority markets, funders and geographies •Lead the development of bid strategies and technical proposals •Provide senior technical advice to governments, clients, funders and development partners •Lead on technical delivery as Technical Team Leader or Technical Director •Lead or contribute to publications, technical papers, policy briefs and other knowledge products •Act as OPM's primary external representative on the Climate & Health agenda

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Masters: Public Health, Climate Change, Environmental Health, International Development
Significant professional experience in the development of climate or health related public policy within LMIC contexts, with exposure to work at the climate-health nexus; strong track record in business development and leading complex, high-value bids
Business Development, Bid Writing, Technical Writing, People Management, Stakeholder Management
