The Role
Full-time, on-site Biomedical Engineer at Shifa International Hospitals, Islamabad, responsible for the installation, inspection, repair, calibration and maintenance of biomedical equipment to ensure its safe, reliable and efficient operation across hospital departments.
•Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of medical equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability •Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate timely repairs to minimize operational downtime •Conduct equipment installation, inspection, testing, calibration and commissioning •Maintain comprehensive records of equipment inventory, maintenance schedules, service reports and equipment history •Ensure medical equipment complies with applicable safety standards and regulatory requirements •Coordinate with clinical departments, vendors and service providers regarding equipment maintenance, repairs and technical issues •Monitor equipment performance and identify opportunities for improvement, replacement and lifecycle management •Assist in the technical evaluation and assessment of medical equipment for procurement and replacement •Conduct user guidance and basic training for clinical staff on the safe and effective operation of medical equipment •Support equipment audits, risk assessments, incident investigations and continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment safety and reliability

- Bachelor 16 Years: Biomedical Engineering
3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare setting
