The Role
Research Associate (contractual) in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Aga Khan University, Karachi, coordinating research studies carried out at multiple locations.
•Coordinate with project staff on research study work •Provide trainings to staff where necessary •Coordinate with stakeholders to carry out project activities smoothly •Work on proposal development of Ob/ Gyn research studies •Liaise with granting agencies as required •Conduct literature reviews and support writing of research papers •Prepare write-ups of results, manuscripts, presentations and research proposals •Prepare weekly, fortnightly and monthly project reports and presentations •Search and apply for new grants •Prepare and submit ERC/ IRB and NBC approval applications •Attend Zoom/ in-person meetings with in-country team and sponsors in the evening •Support preparation of study progress reports for PI/ co-PI and donors •Undertake field visits and support project activities

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Professional Bachelor: Medical
- Bachelor 16 Years
- Masters: Public Health, Epidemiology
At least two years of related work experience Preferred: Community settings, hospital or research facilities
Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Time Management, Report Writing
•Willingness to work in a community setting and travel as required
