The Role
Senior Instructor in the Department of Paediatrics at the Aga Khan Hospital, Karimabad (Off-Campus Hospital), Karachi.
•Provide supervision in inpatient and outpatient services along with senior faculty members •Perform daily team rounds, formulate care plans and expedite discharges in consultation with senior faculty and fellows •Develop and practise a quality-based system with an embedded academic and service model •Teach and train undergraduates and postgraduates according to the defined standards and curriculum •Formulate quality initiatives for the units and present them under the guidance of faculty •Contribute to patient complaint reviews and case review/ root cause analysis •Participate in General Paediatrics, departmental and organisational performance improvement activities
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Professional Bachelor: Medical
Completed structured postgraduate training in Paediatrics from a reputable institution
Teaching, Teamwork
•Valid licence from Pakistan Medical Commission •FCPS or MRCP in Paediatrics
•Willingness to work in shift duties
