The Role
Post-Doctoral Fellowship Programme at the Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED) for early-career researchers who completed their PhD within the last three years. Fellows work with a senior faculty mentor under one of four 2027 themes (Non-Formal Education, Environmental Education, Multigrade Teaching, Mathematics & Science Education), based at AKU-IED Karachi, PDC Chitral or PDCN Gilgit, from Jan/ Feb to Oct 2027 (may be extended to 12 months).
•Plan, collect and analyse research data and share findings through reports, presentations and at least one manuscript submitted to a peer-reviewed journal •Co-develop and submit at least one grant or funding proposal with the host mentor •Deliver teaching sessions or provide academic support as needed •Present work at least once through the Institute's seminar series •Participate in the Institute's academic activities and scholarly community
