The Role

Procon Engineering, a leading automotive component manufacturer, is hiring a Deputy Manager for pipe and wire cutting operations at Port Qasim, Karachi.

•Manage daily pipe and wire cutting operations to achieve production targets and delivery schedules •Oversee cutting machines, equipment settings and operational processes •Ensure accurate cutting dimensions, lengths and material specifications as per engineering drawings •Monitor production efficiency, machine utilization, cycle time and material consumption •Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery and raw materials •Coordinate with Production Planning, Quality, Maintenance and other relevant departments •Troubleshoot machine breakdowns, cutting defects and process-related issues •Minimize material wastage, rejection rates and production downtime •Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and operational efficiency •Ensure compliance with safety standards, housekeeping and effective team management
