The Role
National Dredging & Marine Services (Pvt) Ltd (NDMS) is seeking a competent, experienced and motivated professional for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) NDMS on contract basis (extendable). •Provide strategic leadership with vision and plans aligned with national/ regional requirements and cost-effective, sustainable solutions •Oversee fleet management and optimum utilisation •Ensure project delivery meeting time, cost and scope •Implement HSE standards and practices •Maintain SOE compliance and transparency and balance cost and revenue •Make investments to support regional expansion •Liaise with government and port authorities and engage with regional and international partners, contractors and suppliers •Build skilled, motivated and disciplined teams and a high-performance organisational framework focused on performance, accountability, safety, collaboration and innovation •Uphold OECD/ IFC governance standards, promote anti-corruption policies and whistleblower protections, and disclose conflicts of interest

Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Masters: Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, Project Management
3-5 years' experience of a C-level position in maritime/ corporate sector Proven track record of high value maritime projects in public sector Thorough understanding of government rules and regulations related to procurement and contracting, demonstrated through past projects In-depth knowledge and experience in ship operations, maintenance and management Experience of working and representation at the highest government level, demonstrated through past projects Preferred: 15-20 years' experience in dredging/ hydrography/ maritime/ marine/ mechanical engineering projects; similar corporate-sector experience relevant to maritime/ dredging is acceptable
•Specialisation in Hydrography, Dredging, Project Management, Corporate/ Business Administration, Marine or Mechanical Engineering is preferred
