The Role

3-6 months internship (extension possible based on performance) supporting literacy initiatives and community engagement activities of the Kitab Gari team.

•Plan and implement Kitab Gari activities in line with project objectives •Coordinate the distribution of books and reading materials to schools, libraries, and community learning spaces •Monitor program implementation and assess the impact of literacy interventions •Organize reading sessions, workshops, storytelling events, and community engagement activities •Lead interactive storytelling sessions to foster children’s interest in reading •Build and maintain partnerships with schools, educators, and local organizations to strengthen outreach •Engage communities to promote a culture of reading and lifelong learning •Prepare program reports, documentation, and presentations
