The Role

Abbott is hiring a Microbiologist in its Established Pharmaceutical Division (Operation) to support the Manager Microbiology in coordinating and overseeing micro-lab activities at the Landhi Plant, Karachi.

•Perform microbiological testing required for raw materials, finished products, AMC, media fill run and challenge test of autoclave and dry heat sterilizer •Maintain inventory of prepared media and culture as per frequency •Conduct all microbiological sampling and testing as per approved protocols for facility, utilities, environment, equipment and product validation by the validation section •Ensure best standard of housekeeping in the micro lab and washing area •Collect samples of water (WFI/ DI/ PW) as per schedule and sample finished products of the SVP area as per manufacturing plan •Perform sampling of air (viable and non-viable), swabs, gowning swabs, glove prints and commodity samples as per schedule •Conduct sampling of glucose liquid as per procedure
