The Role
Provide legal support and advisory services across business and operational functions at JazzSure Insurance, including contract drafting and review, legal opinions, regulatory support, litigation and corporate documentation.
•Provide day-to-day legal support and practical advice to business and operational functions •Draft, review, negotiate and vet agreements, contracts, MoUs, NDAs, vendor agreements and other legal documents •Identify, assess and mitigate legal and contractual risks arising from business activities, products, processes and communications •Support compliance with applicable insurance laws, regulations and regulatory requirements, and monitor legal and regulatory developments •Support the handling of litigation, disputes, claims, legal notices and proceedings in coordination with external legal counsel •Conduct legal research, prepare legal opinions and correspondence, and maintain legal records, contract databases and trackers •Assist in developing and reviewing legal policies, procedures, templates and governance documents
Applicants General Eligibility & Requirements
3- 5 years
Education, Experience and Skills Requirements
- Bachelor 16 Years: Law
3-5 years of relevant legal experience, preferably within insurance, financial services, corporate legal practice or a reputable law firm; experience drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements
LLB from a recognized institution; Bar qualification/ enrollment will be an advantage
