Boiler Engineer (Executive)

The Role

GTR Tyres seeks a Boiler Engineer (Executive) for operation and maintenance of boiler and utilities equipment.

•Plan and schedule preventive and annual maintenance program for utility equipment •Plan and schedule maintenance activities in compliance with the preventive maintenance schedule •Plan and monitor water treatment and lubrication activities, reviewing and modifying activities as required •Record and maintain equipment maintenance history, fuel consumption and meter readings •Conduct safety inspection of utility equipment as per standard and record it with the help of checklists •Keep a record of major maintenance cost incurred •Maintain the energy management system; identify, inspect and replace faulty equipment and devices and troubleshoot •Assist the area manager/ in-charge in evaluating development proposals, manpower scheduling, preparing and updating equipment inventory and reviewing time cards •Supervise utility assistants, supervisors and the operation and maintenance crew •Manage spare inventory and liaise with supply/ RMWH for spares availability •Supervise area utilities operators and supervisors for the operation of other utilities •Operate and maintain RO, UF and LPG plant
